Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly grease it.
- In a skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Sauté chopped onion until soft (about 3–4 minutes), then add minced garlic for an additional 30 seconds.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper; stir well.
- Add the sautéed onion and garlic to the mixture followed by breadcrumbs and ground turkey; mix gently until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf on the prepared baking sheet.
- For the glaze, whisk together ketchup, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar; brush over the meatloaf.
- Bake for about 45–60 minutes until an instant-read thermometer registers at least 165°F in the center. Let rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.
