  • Tomato sauce (16 oz can)
  • Olive oil, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. In a large dutch oven, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and garlic; sauté until softened.
  2. Add ground beef and chicken sausage; cook until browned.
  3. Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, and seasonings. Let simmer for at least 1.5 hours.
  4. In a bowl, mix ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, salt, and pepper until combined.
  5. Boil lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
  6. In a baking dish, layer meat sauce, noodles, and cheese mixture. Repeat layers.
  7. Bake covered at 375°F for 30 minutes; then uncovered for an additional 30 minutes until golden.
