Description

One-Pan Teriyaki Beef and Broccoli is the ultimate quick weeknight dinner that packs flavor and nutrition into just 30 minutes. Tender beef and crisp broccoli come together in a savory, homemade teriyaki sauce, making this dish a crowd-pleaser. Perfect for busy families or anyone looking to whip up a delicious meal without fuss, this recipe is versatile enough to serve over rice or noodles, and it also freezes beautifully for future meals. Enjoy a delightful combination of textures and tastes with minimal cleanup!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 lbs flank steak (thinly sliced)
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • Vegetable oil for stir-frying

Instructions

  1. Coat the beef: In a gallon-sized freezer bag, combine sliced beef and cornstarch. Seal and shake until the beef is coated evenly.
  2. Prepare the sauce: In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, water, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame seeds, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Cook the beef: Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef in batches and cook until browned (about 3–4 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  4. Stir-fry broccoli: In the same skillet, add more oil if necessary and stir-fry broccoli for about 5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Combine: Return beef to the skillet with broccoli, pour in teriyaki sauce, and cook for an additional 2–3 minutes until heated through.
