  • ¼ cup milk (your choice)

  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup white whole wheat flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a muffin tin with cooking spray or liners.
  2. In a bowl, toss chopped strawberries with ¼ cup all-purpose flour.
  3. Melt butter in a large microwave-safe bowl, then combine it with applesauce (or banana/yogurt), maple syrup (or honey), milk, vanilla extract, and eggs. Whisk until smooth.
  4. Mix in baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Follow by adding white whole wheat flour and remaining all-purpose flour. Stir gently until combined.
