  • 1 teaspoon strawberry extract
  • 15 drops red or pink liquid food coloring
  • 2 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 20 Golden Oreos
  • 1 box (3.4 oz) strawberry Jello powder
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Crush Golden Oreos until finely crumbed. Mix with strawberry Jello powder and melted butter until combined; spread on a plate.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  3. In a mixer, cream softened butter with white and brown sugars until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time.
  4. Stir in strawberry extract and food coloring.
  5. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture on low speed until just combined.
  6. Scoop dough into tablespoon-sized balls and roll in the crushed Oreo topping.
  7. Place on a lined baking sheet and bake for 8 minutes. Sprinkle extra topping on cookies and bake for an additional 4 minutes.
