  • 1 3/4 cups (219 g) all purpose flour, spooned and leveled
  • 1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup (168 g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup (220 g) brown sugar, packed
  • 2 egg yolks, at room temperature
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup (130 g) powdered sugar
  • 24 tsp whole milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together softened unsalted butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, pumpkin pie spice, and salt.
  4. Add canned pumpkin puree to the butter mixture and blend well.
  5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until smooth.
