- 2 green onions, thinly sliced (white and green parts separated)

- 1-inch piece ginger, grated
- Pinch of red pepper flakes
- 8 cups chicken broth
- 24 oz package store-bought dumplings (e.g., frozen chicken gyoza)
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seed oil
Instructions
- Heat frying oil in a large pot over high heat.
- Add sliced mushrooms, broccoli florets, matchstick carrots, and white parts of green onions. Cook for about 2 minutes until browned and softened.
- Stir in grated garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes; cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil; then reduce heat and let simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Carefully add dumplings to the pot and cook according to package instructions (about 3 minutes).
- Stir in soy sauce and toasted sesame seed oil; sprinkle with remaining green onion tops before serving.
