Ingredients

Scale

For the Pineapple Layer:

  • 2 cups frozen pineapple chunks

  • ½ cup pineapple juice (or water)

  • 12 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional, to taste)

  • Juice of ½ lime (for brightness)

For the Strawberry Layer:

  • 2 cups frozen strawberries

  • ½ cup orange juice (or water)

  • 12 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional, to taste)

  • Juice of ½ lime

Optional Toppings:

  • Fresh mint leaves

  • Pineapple wedges or strawberry slices for garnish

  • Paper umbrellas or straws for fun!

Instructions

Step 1: Blend the Pineapple Layer

  1. In a blender, combine frozen pineapple, pineapple juice, honey/maple syrup (if using), and lime juice.

  2. Blend until smooth and slushy. If too thick, add a splash more juice.

  3. Pour into a bowl and place in the freezer while you make the second layer.

Step 2: Blend the Strawberry Layer
4. Rinse the blender, then add frozen strawberries, orange juice, honey/maple syrup, and lime juice.
5. Blend until smooth and slushy. Adjust sweetness or liquid as needed.

Step 3: Assemble the Swirled Slushies
6. Alternate spooning or pouring layers of pineapple and strawberry into your serving glasses.
7. Use a straw or skewer to gently swirl for a marbled effect (don’t overmix).
8. Garnish with fresh fruit, mint, or a fun straw.

Step 4: Serve Immediately
9. Enjoy right away while icy and vibrant!

Notes

Use Frozen Fruit – Essential for thick, slushy texture.
Adjust Sweetness – Taste before adding sweetener—ripe fruit may need none.
Layer Carefully – Spoon gently for distinct layers and clean swirls.
Serve Fast – These melt quickly, so serve immediately for best texture.
Make it a Smoothie – Add yogurt or banana for a creamy variation.
