Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

For the Cream Cheese Layer:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 cup whipped topping (or whipped cream)

For the Pecan Pie Filling:

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • ½ cup corn syrup (or maple syrup for natural option)

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter

  • ¼ cup heavy cream

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 cups chopped pecans

  • Pinch of salt

For the Whipped Topping:

  • 2 cups whipped topping or homemade whipped cream

  • Extra chopped pecans for garnish

  • Caramel sauce for drizzling (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Make the Crust
In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and brown sugar until evenly combined.
Press firmly into the bottom of a 9×13 inch dish to form an even crust.
Chill in the fridge while preparing the next layer.

Step 2: Prepare the Cream Cheese Layer
In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth.
Add powdered sugar and vanilla, then mix until fluffy.
Fold in whipped topping gently until well incorporated.
Spread the mixture evenly over the chilled crust and return to the fridge.

Step 3: Cook the Pecan Pie Filling
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine brown sugar, corn syrup, butter, and heavy cream.
Stir constantly until the mixture starts to bubble, about 4–5 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla, salt, and chopped pecans.
Let it cool for 10–15 minutes before pouring over the cream cheese layer.

Step 4: Assemble the Top Layer
Once the pecan filling has slightly cooled and firmed, spread it gently over the cream cheese layer.
Chill for at least 4 hours (or overnight) to set the layers completely.

Step 5: Add Whipped Topping & Garnish
Spread whipped topping evenly over the chilled pecan pie layer.
Garnish with extra chopped pecans and a light drizzle of caramel sauce if desired.

Step 6: Slice & Serve
Use a sharp knife to slice into squares. Wipe the knife clean between cuts for perfect layers.
Serve chilled and enjoy the layers of flavor and texture in every bite.

Notes

Cool the Pecan Filling – Let it cool slightly before layering so it doesn’t melt the cream cheese.
Use a Glass Dish – Show off the beautiful layers!
Chill Thoroughly – Allow enough time for the layers to firm before slicing.
Make It Ahead – Best when made the night before for optimal texture and flavor.
Use Real Whipped Cream – If you prefer a homemade topping, beat 1 cup heavy cream with 2 tbsp powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
