  • 1 pound raw shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices turkey turkey bacon (diced)
  • ½ cup chopped white onions
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • ½ cup chicken broth (for shrimp mixture)
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun Seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring chicken broth to a boil. Stir in salt and gradually add the grits while whisking continuously. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 20 minutes until thickened.
  2. Stir in butter, milk, white cheddar cheese, and Parmesan until creamy. Keep warm.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, cook diced turkey turkey bacon until crispy. Remove from pan.
  4. Sauté onions in the same skillet until translucent; add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  5. Add shrimp along with Old Bay Seasoning, Cajun seasoning, salt, pepper, lemon juice, and half a cup of chicken broth. Cook until shrimp turn pink (about 3–5 minutes).
  6. Serve creamy grits topped with the shrimp mixture and crispy turkey turkey bacon.
