Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 cup long grain enriched white rice

- 1 cup chopped green peppers
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1–2 cups frozen chopped okra
- 3 garlic cloves
- 24 oz chicken broth (3 cups)
- Spices: bay leaf, dried basil, cayenne pepper, oregano, Creole seasoning, thyme
Instructions
- Prepare all ingredients by chopping vegetables and slicing sausage.
- Set the Instant Pot to 'Sauté' mode. Add olive oil and butter; once melted, stir in flour until dark brown.
- Add onions, celery, green peppers, and garlic; sauté for five minutes.
