Step 1: Season the Chicken

  1. Pat chicken dry with paper towels.

  2. In a bowl, toss the chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  3. Let marinate for 10 minutes if time allows.

Step 2: Cook the Chicken
4. Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
5. Add chicken and sear for 5-6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp of 165°F).
6. Transfer to a plate and tent with foil to keep warm.

Step 3: Make the Hot Honey Glaze
7. In a small saucepan, combine honey, red pepper flakes, smoked paprika, and apple cider vinegar.

9. Remove from heat and set aside.

Step 4: Prepare the Feta Topping
10. In a bowl, mix feta, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, oregano, salt, and pepper until creamy but slightly chunky.
11. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Step 5: Assemble and Serve
12. Spoon a generous layer of feta mixture over each chicken breast.
13. Drizzle with warm hot honey glaze.
14. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Don’t Overcook – Use a thermometer to ensure juicy chicken every time.
Adjust the Heat – Reduce or increase chili flakes based on your spice preference.
Use Quality Feta – A good block of feta crumbled fresh adds the best texture and flavor.
Let Chicken Rest – Resting after cooking keeps juices inside and ensures tenderness.
Balance the Flavors – Add more lemon or vinegar to the glaze for extra tang if desired.
