- 1 lb Chicken Breast
- 1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1/2 cup Cornstarch
- 2 Eggs (beaten)
- 1/2 cup Honey
- 2 tbsp Sriracha
- 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- Vegetable Oil (for frying)
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- Salt & White Pepper (as needed)
- 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
Instructions
- Cut chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces.
- In a bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, and pepper. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
- Dip each chicken piece in the egg mixture, then coat with the dry mixture.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry chicken pieces in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per batch.
- For the sauce, mix honey, sriracha, soy sauce, garlic powder, and cornstarch in a saucepan over low heat until thickened.
- Toss fried chicken in the sauce until well-coated and serve over rice garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.
