  • 1 lb Chicken Breast
  • 1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cup Cornstarch
  • 2 Eggs (beaten)
  • 1/2 cup Honey
  • 2 tbsp Sriracha
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • Vegetable Oil (for frying)
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • Salt & White Pepper (as needed)
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, and pepper. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  3. Dip each chicken piece in the egg mixture, then coat with the dry mixture.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or pot to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Fry chicken pieces in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per batch.
  6. For the sauce, mix honey, sriracha, soy sauce, garlic powder, and cornstarch in a saucepan over low heat until thickened.
  7. Toss fried chicken in the sauce until well-coated and serve over rice garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.
