- 3–4 medium russet potatoes (peeled)
- 3–4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt (plus more for topping)
- Vegetable oil (for frying)
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped, optional)
Instructions
- Boil peeled potatoes in a large pot of water for 6-7 minutes until parboiled but firm. Allow to cool.
- Shred the cooled potatoes using a box shredder into a bowl.
