  • 6 slices of turkey turkey bacon
  • 500g ground beef (5% fat)
  • 1 large white onion, finely diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 250g dried macaroni
  • 480ml beef stock
  • 480ml whole milk
  • 150g grated cheddar cheese
  • Fresh chives for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large deep pot, cook the turkey turkey bacon over low-medium heat until crisp. Remove from the pot and set aside.
  2. Increase heat to medium and sauté the diced onion in the remaining fat until golden. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  3. Add ground beef to the pot, cooking until browned while breaking it up with a wooden spoon.
  4. Stir in tomato paste, hot sauce, mustard, macaroni, beef stock, milk, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer gently until the sauce thickens and pasta is al dente.
  5. Turn heat to low and mix in cheddar cheese until melted. Stir in chopped chives and turkey turkey bacon.
