Stir in the garlic, chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.
-
Mix in the tomato sauce and simmer for 2-3 minutes to combine flavors.
-
Remove from heat and let cool slightly before assembling the quesadillas.

-
Lay out tortillas on a flat surface.
-
On half of each tortilla, sprinkle a layer of shredded cheese.
-
Add a generous spoonful of the ground beef mixture on top.
-
Sprinkle more cheese over the meat for extra meltiness.
-
Fold the tortilla in half to cover the filling.
Step 3: Cook the Quesadillas
-
Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little oil or butter.
-
Place the folded quesadilla in the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Step 4: Serve with Toppings
-
Serve warm with sour cream, salsa, guacamole, or your favorite toppings.

Notes
Use Medium Heat – Too high and the tortillas burn before the cheese melts.
Don’t Overfill – A little filling goes a long way and keeps them easy to flip.
Press Gently – Use a spatula to lightly press the quesadilla for even browning.
Double Cheese – Helps the quesadilla hold together and taste amazing.
Keep Warm – Place cooked quesadillas in a warm oven if making a big batch.
