- 1 pound ground beef
- 24 ounces marinara sauce
- 22 ounces frozen cheese tortellini
- 8 ounces grated mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 large cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3/4 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- Pinch of crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 3-quart baking dish.
- In a large pot over medium heat, brown the ground beef with minced garlic until no longer pink; drain excess fat.
- Season the meat with garlic powder, dried basil, parsley, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper; stir well.
- Mix in the marinara sauce and then add thawed tortellini from a colander to combine.
- Stir in half of the mozzarella until melted into the mixture and transfer it to the baking dish.

- Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes; remove foil and bake for another 15-20 minutes until bubbly.
