Description

Ingredients

  • 3 lb chuck roast
  • Salt and pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp ranch seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
  • 1 sliced onion
  • Arby’s sauce
  • Horsey sauce
  • Onion buns
  • Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Season the chuck roast generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and sear the roast until browned on all sides.
  3. Transfer the roast to a crockpot; add beef broth, ranch seasoning, Montreal steak seasoning, minced garlic, enough Arby’s sauce to cover the meat, and sliced onions.
  4. Cook on low for about 8 hours until the beef is tender.
  5. Remove the roast from the crockpot and shred using two forks; discard excess fat.
  6. Return shredded meat to the pot and mix in additional Arby’s sauce if desired.
  7. Preheat your oven's broiler; place onion buns on a sheet pan. Fill each bottom bun with shredded beef and top with onions and cheddar cheese. Broil until cheese is melted.
  8. Serve hot with Horsey sauce drizzled on top.
