Ingredients
- 3 lb chuck roast
- Salt and pepper
- Garlic powder
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp ranch seasoning
- 1 tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
- 1 sliced onion
- Arby’s sauce
- Horsey sauce
- Onion buns
- Cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Season the chuck roast generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and sear the roast until browned on all sides.
- Transfer the roast to a crockpot; add beef broth, ranch seasoning, Montreal steak seasoning, minced garlic, enough Arby’s sauce to cover the meat, and sliced onions.
- Cook on low for about 8 hours until the beef is tender.
- Remove the roast from the crockpot and shred using two forks; discard excess fat.
- Return shredded meat to the pot and mix in additional Arby’s sauce if desired.
- Preheat your oven's broiler; place onion buns on a sheet pan. Fill each bottom bun with shredded beef and top with onions and cheddar cheese. Broil until cheese is melted.
- Serve hot with Horsey sauce drizzled on top.
