  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese (freshly shaved)
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 8 oz rotini pasta (uncooked)
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ingredients by adding chicken, garlic, crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and chicken broth to the slow cooker.
  2. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until chicken is tender.
  3. Shred the chicken using two forks and return it to the pot.
  4. Stir in parmesan cheese, heavy cream, and rotini pasta; cover and cook on low for an additional 30 minutes or high for about 15 minutes until pasta is tender.
  5. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and sauté breadcrumbs until golden brown.
  6. Serve soup in bowls topped with shredded mozzarella and sautéed breadcrumbs.
