Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs lean ground beef
- 1 large egg
- 1 oz onion soup mix
- 1/4 cup milk
- 20 Ritz crackers
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup diced yellow onions
- 21 oz condensed cream of mushroom soup (2 x 10.5 oz cans)
- 0.87 oz brown gravy mix
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons corn starch
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine lean ground beef, egg, onion soup mix, and milk.
- Crush Ritz crackers in a Ziploc bag and add to the mixture; combine well.
- Shape into four patties and brown them in olive oil over medium-high heat in a sauté pan for about 3 minutes per side.
- Place diced onions in the bottom of the crock pot and layer the browned patties on top.
- Mix cream of mushroom soup, brown gravy mix, and beef broth in a bowl; pour over patties.
- Cover and cook on LOW for about 4 hours.
- Once done, remove patties to thicken sauce with corn starch mixed in water for an additional 10 minutes before serving.
