Ingredients

Scale

For the Chicken:

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs

  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix

  • 1 block (8 oz) cream cheese, cubed

  • ½ cup chicken broth

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp black pepper

For the Sandwiches:

  • 68 sandwich buns or rolls

  • Sliced cheddar, Swiss, or provolone cheese (optional)

  • Lettuce, tomato, and pickles (optional)

Optional Add-ins:

  • ½ cup cooked, crumbled chicken sausage or turkey bacon

  • ¼ cup chopped green onions

  • A few dashes of hot sauce for extra heat

Instructions

Step 1: Load the Slow Cooker
Place chicken breasts in the bottom of your Crock-Pot.
Sprinkle with ranch seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper.
Add cubed cream cheese on top and pour in chicken broth.

Step 2: Cook Until Tender
Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until chicken is fully cooked and shreddable.

Step 3: Shred the Chicken
Remove chicken and shred using two forks.
Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and stir until fully coated in the creamy ranch mixture.

Step 4: Assemble the Sandwiches
Toast sandwich buns if desired.
Spoon creamy ranch chicken onto the bottom half of each bun.
Top with cheese slices and any desired toppings like lettuce or tomato.

Step 5: Serve & Enjoy
Serve hot with chips, fries, or a simple side salad.

Notes

Use Chicken Thighs – For extra juicy and flavorful results.
Toast the Buns – Adds crunch and prevents sogginess.
Adjust the Creaminess – Add more broth for a thinner sauce or more cream cheese for extra richness.
Double for a Crowd – Perfect for potlucks or game days.
Spice It Up – Stir in jalapeños, hot sauce, or pepper jack cheese.
