  • 2 pounds chicken tenderloins
  • 1/2 medium onion, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1/2 cup finely shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced roasted red peppers
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoncini peppers

Instructions

  1. Heat the butter and olive oil in a large cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the chicken tenderloins with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook until golden brown on both sides; remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté the diced onion for about 3 minutes, then add minced garlic and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and let it reduce by half before stirring in the heavy cream and Italian seasoning. Return the chicken to the skillet.
  5. Simmer until the cream thickens and the chicken is fully cooked through.
  6. Add Parmesan cheese, roasted red peppers, pepperoncini peppers, and crushed red pepper flakes; stir until well combined.
