  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 8 ounces imitation crab (flake-style, chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons green onion (sliced)
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, chopped imitation crab, sliced green onion, soy sauce, minced garlic, and granulated sugar. Mix until smooth.
  2. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the mixture onto each wonton wrapper. Moisten the edges with water and seal tightly by pinching corners together.
  3. Heat oil in a heavy-bottom pan over medium heat until it reaches 350°F.
  4. Fry assembled Rangoons in batches for about 3 minutes or until golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
