Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cottage cheese (full-fat works best) – For maximum crispiness.
  • ½ teaspoon salt – Enhances the flavor.
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper – Adds a subtle spice.
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder – Optional, but adds great taste.
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika – For a smoky kick.
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese – (Optional) Adds extra crispiness and flavor.

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.

Step 2: Prepare the Cottage Cheese

  1. In a bowl, mix cottage cheese, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  2. (Optional) Stir in grated Parmesan for extra crispiness.

Step 3: Form the Chips

  1. Using a spoon or cookie scoop, place small dollops of the cottage cheese mixture onto the lined baking sheet.
  2. Spread each dollop into a thin, even circle—about 2 inches wide.

Step 4: Bake Until Crispy

  1. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and crispy.
  2. Let the chips cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes to crisp up further.

Step 5: Serve & Enjoy!

  • Enjoy them as-is or pair with your favorite dips like guacamole, hummus, or salsa.

Notes

  • Use Full-Fat Cottage Cheese: Higher fat content helps crisp up better.
  • Spread Thinly: The thinner the layer, the crispier the chips.
  • Let Them Cool: They crisp up more as they cool.
  • Experiment with Flavors: Add herbs, chili flakes, or even ranch seasoning for variety!
