Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 1 pound large shrimp, raw, deveined
  • 1 pound top sirloin steak, cut into cubes
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 small yellow onion, diced
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 cups freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • Blackened seasoning (to taste)
  • Kosher salt and black pepper (to taste)
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water in a large pot. Cook the penne pasta until al dente, then drain.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add vegetable oil and season the shrimp with blackened seasoning. Cook shrimp until pink (about 2-3 minutes per side), then set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sear the seasoned beef cubes until browned on all sides (about 4-5 minutes). Remove from heat.
  4. In another saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté onions until soft; add garlic and cook for another minute.
  5. Pour in heavy cream gradually while stirring; let it simmer gently before adding parmesan cheese until melted.
  6. Stir in cooked pasta, shrimp, and beef until thoroughly combined.
  7. Garnish with parsley before serving warm.
