Ingredients
- 4 flaky French croissants
- 4–6 slices quality turkey
- 8 slices gruyère or Swiss cheese
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1 tablespoon honey
- ½ tablespoon Dijon mustard
- ½ tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
- Sliced green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice each croissant in half lengthwise. On the bottom half, layer two slices of cheese followed by turkey slices and an additional slice of cheese before closing.
- In a bowl, mix melted butter, honey, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, and poppy seeds. Brush the mixture generously over the top of each croissant.
- Place the croissants on the lined baking sheet and bake for 7-9 minutes or until the cheese is fully melted.
