- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon

- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2/3 cup whole milk
- ¼ cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 2 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 medium apple (peeled and diced)
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease muffin cups with vegetable oil.
- In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and vanilla extract. Gradually mix in dry ingredients until smooth.
- Stir in melted butter followed by diced apples and apple cider vinegar.
- Fill greased muffin tins until about half an inch from the top.
- Bake for 18–20 minutes or until golden brown; cool for five minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Combine powdered sugar with milk or water to make the glaze; drizzle over warm fritters.
