  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 16 ounces Cool Whip, thawed (divided)
  • 42 ounces apple pie filling (2 cans)
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust: In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter. Press firmly into the bottom of a 13×9 baking dish. Freeze while making the filling.
  2. Make the filling: Blend softened cream cheese with granulated sugar and vanilla until smooth. Fold in half of the Cool Whip (8 ounces) and spread over the frozen crust.
  3. Layer the apple filling: Spoon apple pie filling evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  4. Top with Cool Whip: Spread remaining Cool Whip over the apple layer. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  5. Garnish before serving: Sprinkle with chopped pecans if desired and serve cold.
