  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons pineapple juice
  • 6 pineapple slices (fresh or canned)
  • 6 slices cooked turkey turkey bacon
  • 6 soft hamburger buns (brioche or Hawaiian)
  • ½ cup teriyaki sauce

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, ginger, soy sauce, and pineapple juice until combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into six equal patties.
  3. Preheat your grill to around 400°F. Grill onion and pineapple slices for about three minutes until charred; set aside.
  4. Grill the patties for three minutes on one side; flip and cook for two more minutes. Add cheese on top and cook for one additional minute.
  5. Let the burgers rest for five minutes before assembling.
  6. Serve on buns with grilled pineapple, turkey turkey bacon, teriyaki sauce, and your choice of toppings.
